Trevor's Delight (and I thought I was). We had a very good meal in this pub, three courses for $30, The Seven Stars, at Shincliff, near Durham. They had four real ales so Trevor was very happy.

We stayed at a campsite near Scarborough in Yorkshire and we thought we would have a pint at the local pub down the road. When we got there we happend to look at the menu and they had the fish, halibut, on the menu, so we dicded Marion wouldn't cook that night as we dined in the pub.
This pub also stocked over 300 different whiskeys. There were row upon row upon row of them. We sent Joseph (Moore) a photo of some of them to let him know we were researching his interests.

El Aranal, near Javea; the view from the restaurant was spectacular, and the price OK; 3 courses of good food, plus a bottle of wine per person, plus a breakfast voucher (bacon, egg, 2 sausages, tomato and hash browns) for Euro8.95 that is the equiv. AU$14. Please advise Ray Green!!

A very good meal with Lynda and Colin at their friend's villa in Javea. I made Tarte Tatin for them, which is a favourite of Colin's

Marion, Magaret, and Marion's other sister, Valerie with her partner, David, at an Indian restaurant in Amersham close to where we used to live.
|

Close to David's apartment in Spain is the Rivi Bar and this is the 8Euro menu of starter, main course, dessert and drink. This equates to about $12.
